Before I started our business I was a primary school teacher for about 8 years so I offered to take this on myself.  This project is not commercial, it’s for my kids school and they were looking for a calm area to work in small groups or 1:1 with a teacher.

To be honest, I love getting my hands dirty, and do everything a business owner should not do (designing, printing, routering and installing) but if we are passionate about the industry then we can’t resist.

There were some fire regulations constraints that we had to consider but here is what we did:

• Suspended Ceiling Slips from FR Rated PVC for the ceiling tiles (we were not permitted to remove or replace them.
• Wall covering – single piece wallpaper
• Wall covering – 3mm PVC bonded to the wall
• Door covering – laminated polymeric High Tack self adhesive vinyl (SAV)
• Floor – artificial grass
• Wrapped Furniture – wrapped with a cast self adhesive vinyl with a matching laminate
• Hanging Signs – 3mm PVC printed direct to board and then digitally cut on a Zund
• Partitions – 12mm FR Rated Plywood printed to direct to substrate and then routed to shape on CNC Zund.
